About Exposed SEO

In this blog I will be sharing some of my seo and marketing techniques as well as some of my random seo ramblings. Most of the methods I will be talking about have been personally tested and have been proven to work. I can't say this blog is strictly white hat seo. Just because some ideas are unethical and extremely black hat, does not mean we should not discuss them. I hope you enjoy my blog. Don't forget to bookmark and subscribe :)

About me

Hey! My name is Ilia and welcome to my blog! I am 22 years of age, 7 of which I've spent working for myself. I've had a lot of success with seo and Internet marketing. I've achieved a number of highly competitive rankings, driven millions of organic visitors every month and generated thousands of dollars in revenue. Now I'm here to share some of my experience with you.

Gov and Edu domains

There is still a lot of talk all over the Internet about search engines, in particular Google giving priority to Gov and Edu sites. So does Google treat Edu/Gov sites any differently? No it does not. So why do some webmasters swear that they can achieve better result by acquiring backlinks from such domains? Edu and Gov domain websites tend to be established sites anyway. Also they usually get backlinks from other authority websites. Think of it this way. If there was a domain extension .pr10 especially for websites with page rank of 10, backlinks from such sites would help immensely. Not because of .pr10 domain name extension but because of the actual quality of the website with such extension. So i guess to sum this up… Yes, some Edu and Gov websites can indeed provide you with a strong backlink but it has nothing to do with the domain name extension. However you are better off spending your time finding backlinks from quality/related sites rather than concentrating on sites with a certain domain name extension.
