8 steps to becoming a successful “Make money online” blogger.
1) First of all you need to pick an exciting domain name for your blog. You can go two ways. If you have a great name that has a sound to it like Mike Cheese simply go for MikeCheese.com. Alternatively you can pick a random combination of words followed by “SEO”, “marketing” or “money”. For example uphillgardenermarketing.com.
2) Now its time to design a great theme for your blog. It does not matter what layout nor colours you use as long as you leave plenty of space for ads and even more space for the header. Your header should contain all the expensive things you can think of such as exotic cars, the crown of the Queen Elizabeth or even better a gold plated private jet filled with money. You need to give your readers a taste of what they will be able to buy after reading your blog for a week.
3) It is time to make some money! Fill up your blog with 125px by 125px square ads. The more the better. Arranging these in two columns alongside of your blog will give you maximum results. Join a range of affiliate programs such as weight loss, circus midgets charity and Al Quida to find something for everyone. Now your readers will keep on coming back for more. If not, you can always throw in a few popups later on.
4) Every other day you should remind everyone how much money you make. Start by posting a few pictures of you holding huge stacks of cash. Then grab your readers attention by posting some genuine looking stats as well as a few screenshots of your earnings. Just remember that most of your readers reed your blog because they want to be you. Give them more of what they want!
5) Hook up with some like-minded bloggers or celebrities and blog about your meetings. For maximum effect hook up with Paris Hilton and post the pictures on your blog… or videos… or videos of you and your like-minded blogger friends hooking up with Paris Hilton all at the same time…
6) Blog about the food you eat and it’s nutritional value. Throw in a few pie charts for your brainy readers. Restaurant reviews always do well. Do you really think that people read your blog because they want to learn about making money online? No! They read it because they want to know more about you; and you are what you eat!
7) Join feedburner and get yourself one of the buttons you can put on your blog that displays the number of readers you have. Then subscribe to yourself with fake emails a few thousand times to make it look like everyone wants a piece of blogmaister.
8 ) Write a very helpful eight step list and submit it to Digg. Don’t forget to put a Digg button somewhere in your entry and make sure you mention how much you love Digg and its users!

On #3, you should not select unique ads for your 125×125 blocks. Instead, you should show the exact same 125×125 ads that everyone else who has a “make money online” blog is showing. You know that people will click your affiliate ad rather than the one on 100’s of other blogs.

I’m seeing a lot of Shoemoney backlash lately. Maybe I just started noticing it after I canceled my rss subscription because of one too many “look at this photo of me in a free promotional t-shirt somebody gave me” when all I really want is to learn to make money. Once you’re blogging about meeting paris hilton your make money blog has jumped the shark.

Shoe is alright, I spoke to him personally a few times and he seems like a decent guy. Its just it looks like when things pick up for marketeers and they get busy their blogs turn into “I make money telling people how much money i make” blogs. They no longer have to nor need to nor have time to think about useful things to write.
