About Exposed SEO

In this blog I will be sharing some of my seo and marketing techniques as well as some of my random seo ramblings. Most of the methods I will be talking about have been personally tested and have been proven to work. I can't say this blog is strictly white hat seo. Just because some ideas are unethical and extremely black hat, does not mean we should not discuss them. I hope you enjoy my blog. Don't forget to bookmark and subscribe :)

About me

Hey! My name is Ilia and welcome to my blog! I am 22 years of age, 7 of which I've spent working for myself. I've had a lot of success with seo and Internet marketing. I've achieved a number of highly competitive rankings, driven millions of organic visitors every month and generated thousands of dollars in revenue. Now I'm here to share some of my experience with you.

New domain name craze is about to start

Have you ever thought about going back in time? Have you ever though about what it would be like if you were to buy a bunch of popular domain names lets say 14-20 years ago? You would most likely be a very rich man by now. Business.com sold for $7.500.000 back in 1999. Sex.com on the other hand raised over $14.000.000 a few years ago. Don’t you wish you knew this 20 years ago?

According to this BBC article you may soon have a second chance to grab yourself a unique domain name as Icann (Net regulator) decides to broaden the horizons and allow even more domain name extensions to come to live. Looks like it is going to be a gradual process however we may see more and more extensions becoming available in near future. Could one of them turn you into a millionaire? I guess we will wait and see.

PS: I am selling a 125px by 125px banner spot on the top right for $120/6 months rather than usual $300, so grab one now. This offer ends on Friday.

My way of generating revenue with BANS (Build a niche store)

A few people have asked me about my experience with BANS (Build a niche store) the other day so I thought the rest of the readers might also find this interesting.

BANS is pretty much everything you need in order to set up your own niche website, assuming that you already have hosting and $8 for a domain name. This neat little script is designed around Ebay partnership network (EPN) and comes ready for pretty much any advertising CPC/Affiliate network you are with.

Once you have installed BANS you pretty much just pick an Ebay category (Or your niche) from the list, fill in all the details eg Title, meta tags, Clickbank ID etc and you are ready to go. This really does take minutes to set up.

I know some people spend hours every day promoting their BANS sites but I simply did not have all this time so I went for a lazy approach. Here is what I did:

Generating unique content for free

For one reason or another you might need to generate a bunch of original content or even articles. This can be a time consuming process. Obviously there are various re-writers you can use but most of them don’t work as well as you want them to work as well as setting you back a few hundred dollars.

You can quickly re-write chunks of text using Google translators. Simply copy and paste the text you want to rewrite and translate it the following way:

English ==> Spanish ==> German ==> Russian ==> English

You should end up with the same meaning but different wording and therefore look unique in the eyes of search engines. You might want to quickly Continue Reading…

Why I run multiple websites rather than just one.

1) I have spare server capacity which means that whenever I feel like starting a new website all I need is a domain name. At a few bucks per year there is nothing to worry about financially.

2) It is much easier to get your website to generate you $5/day than $50/day. You can then repeat the process 10 times and end up earning $50 relatively easy.

3) A lot of websites does not always mean a lot of work. I have a network of automated blogs that generate their own content automatically and even bookmark themselves in various social bookmarking sites. I also have 3 directories that I have not touched for around 2 years. Despite the lack of attention they still generate me a few dollars every week.

4) I don’t like putting too many eggs in one basket. I like to have many revenue streams as well as sources of traffic. If something goes horribly wrong I should be able to minimize the damage.

5) Search engines like mature domains. Therefore you website should naturally go up in value as it gets older. Throw in a few easy backlinks and 3 or so months later you will have PR. One hour of work and after a bit of waiting you can sell your unwanted site for at least 10 times the cost of original domain.

6) I get bored easily. During my working day I like to switch from one task to another. Working on a few projects at a time actually keeps me productive.

7) Websites with a revenue history go up in value. If your websites generates you $50/month for half a year you should be able to sell it for 12 x monthly revenue = $600. Therefore I have a whole bunch of these little money earners who I can always sell on.

8 ) I can manipulate traffic by redirecting it from a number of websites to a certain landing page or to kick start a new project. The same can be done with backlinks even though you might want to be careful interlinking your websites. Don’t make it look like a link farm.

Generating money with Freecycle and Ebay

I discovered Freecycle a year or so ago and thought it was a really great idea. Basically instead of throwing away various items you no longer have any use for you simply give them away for free and by doing so decrease your impact on environment.

The other week a friend of mine picked up a brand new sofa worth £700 (Around $1400) simply because some rich jerk’s spoiled wife did not like the colour and asked her husband to get read of it. Then another friend of mine picked up a supposedly faulty, half a year old 37″ LCD TV which simply needed a new fuse.

I have decided to have a closer look myself. Fair enough, there was a lot of junk on offer but I was able to find a bunch of valuable items as well. I have actually managed to pick up a 5.1 surround sound PC speaker set from this guy just down the road from me and sold them on Ebay for just under £30 ($60). The only difficult part is being quick. You need to claim the item pretty much as soon as the listing is posted because somebody else will usually beat you to it. If I had all day I would sit in front of my screen and do just that. Every now and then you would see real quality items up for grabs and if you lucky enough you can make some real money. You can always just keep the item for yourself too. Good luck!
