is this really working? The problem is to get the followers that interested to some niche or category... I have some same project to, but I think its failed because I don't have a good follower for some niche.

This post sure has opened a can of worms. It can be done perfectly legitimately too, for example if you grab a keyword rich username for your specific niche, and use this process to drive targeted traffic to your page.

Sandy, I appreciate your concerns however the whole point of this blog is to expose white and BLACK hat marketing tactics. If this is not your cup of tea, nobody is forcing you to adopt such tactics nor come here.

I am simply blogging about the reality. If this blog post did not exist, it would not wipe the existence of this Twitter method. People were, do and will abuse the system unless some changes are made on Twitter side. Rules are there to be pushed. Who knows what would have happened if that black woman did not challenge racial laws in 1955 by sitting at the front of the bus.

I respect your ethical values and opinions. I expect at least a bit of respect in return. There is absolutely no need for your remarks about my age or occupation. I am a person and entitled to freedom in action and speech.

Aggressive marketing is not for faint hearted. Take all those companies that made and are still making money from M.J's death. Take a look around... Get real! Think about millions of smoking related deaths and the amount of money people make selling cigarettes. Think about all the marketing behind the sales of guns in US and the number of gun related deaths each year. Huge pharmaceutical companies make billions by taking last money from critically ill people. Selling a tennis players some tennis rackets on Twitter that the person actually wants and spends his disposable income on, is nowhere near to all the scams and tricks out there.

So how about you "do something worthwhile" and campaign on a large scale in order to actually make a difference if you have such strong views. There tons of organisations you can join.

I'm always a bit troubled when I read things like this, what possible satisfaction can there be in earning money from people you feel are ignorant while abusing the system? I've had a rash of people I believe are doing this or something similar who's account have been banned. I never automatically follow anyone, and when I went to view their profile I got the message to move along, nothing to see here, this account has been banned. I always look at their profiles and the minute I see they have more than a couple hundred I delete the request knowing it's garbage...spam. Anything that looks like a business gets automatically deleted.

Personally, I wish people would stop spreading how to's like this. It only ads to spam, which creates problems for the rest of us. Automatic adders aren't allowed, it seems from those accounts being banned they are indeed catching people.

According to your profile, you've been a successful business person since the age of 15? I'd really like to see someone with your apparent ability do something worthwhile-- Guess we're all entitled to our opinions

Liza,

There are plenty of ignorant users still. Besides, some people automatically follow back.

plin,

I obviously did. I would not write it in the first person otherwise.
